Switched here from my old family dentist a couple of years ago. Had my first cavity filling today—it was minor, and they didn’t freeze. Didn’t feel a thing and was over in 20 minutes. They give dentists a good name!

Excellent. If I could give more than five stars, I would. Dr Nazaran and his whole staff are professional, compassionate, more than capable and I have no “Dentist Fear Syndrome” when going there. As close to pain free dentistry as I’ve known. And they accept CDCP (Canadian Dental Care Plan), so Bonus. I highly recommend this dental office.

As a parent, finding the right dental care for my children is of utmost importance to me. I am thrilled to share our wonderful experience at Dentist, where my son received top-notch dental care that exceeded all expectations. From the moment we walked in, the staff at Dentist made us feel welcomed and at ease. They have a fantastic way of creating a warm and friendly environment that instantly put my son at ease, which is no small feat for a child who was initially nervous about visiting the dentist. The dentist and dental hygienist were incredibly patient, kind, and understanding. They took the time to explain each step of the examination and treatment process in a way that my son could understand, turning what could have been a daunting experience into an educational one. I truly appreciate the effort they put into making dental care a positive and educational journey for kids.I highly recommend Dentist to all parents seeking the best dental care for their children. They have certainly earned our trust, and we look forward to our next visit with smiles on our faces!Sincerely,Sara

How Much Does CDCP Cover for Children at Leslie North Dental?

The Canadian Dental Care Plan (CDCP) helps make dental care more affordable for eligible kids under 18 by covering 40% to 100% of approved dental costs. The exact coverage depends on your adjusted family net income, ensuring families with lower incomes receive the most support.

Coverage Breakdown:
Family income under $70,000 – 100% coverage for eligible treatments
Family income between $70,000 and $79,999 – 60% coverage with 40% paid by the family
Family income between $80,000 and $89,999 – 40% coverage with 60% paid by the family

Understanding Co-Payments:
A co-payment is the part of the treatment cost you pay out of pocket. The amount depends on your income level and CDCP’s approved rates. If your dentist’s fees exceed CDCP’s set rates or you choose services not covered by CDCP for kids, you will be responsible for the difference.

Here’s a breakdown:

Adjusted Family Net Income CDCP Coverage Co-Payment Responsibility
Less than $70,000 100% 0%
$70,000 - $79,999 60% 40%
$80,000 - $89,999 40% 60%

Additional Costs to Consider:

You may have extra charges if:

✔ The dentist’s fees exceed CDCP’s set rates

✔ You choose treatments that are not covered under the plan
